The Story of LearningRO
Founded on 25 January 2025 by Dhumik Pravin under Motzoid India, LearningRO is an AI-powered educational platform built to make learning smarter, faster, and better for everyone.
From LearnifyX to LearningRO: The Spark
The journey began with a classroom assignment. In early 2025, during his college coursework, Dhumik was tasked with pitching a small business idea. While most students suggested clothing lines or food stalls, he envisioned something bigger — an AI-powered learning platform.
This first idea became LearnifyX. Within weeks, he had developed 10 full courses, 50+ lessons, and AI-driven tools. But in March 2025, a shocking discovery derailed everything: another company had registered the name “LearnifyX.” Legal risks forced the shutdown of the platform he had worked tirelessly on.
It was a painful lesson. Not only did he lose the brand name, but he was also locked into a hosting contract that cost money for a site he could no longer run.
The Rebirth: LearningRO
Instead of quitting, Dhumik rebuilt. Out of the ashes of LearnifyX, LearningRO was born in March 2025.
The name carried double meaning:
- RO = Robot, symbolizing its AI-driven learning assistant.
- RO = Rise Onwards, representing resilience, growth, and moving forward despite setbacks.
This time, he rewrote everything. Courses were redesigned, lessons rephrased, and a unique AI chatbot — RoTutor — was created to help learners without giving away answers.
Building Through Struggles
LearningRO wasn’t built with a team, office, or funding. It was built by one 18-year-old student, using free tools, open-source plugins, and sheer persistence.
But the journey was far from smooth. Along the way came technical disasters — the most severe being a WordPress crash that wiped out the site’s structure. In a single day, months of work seemed lost. Plugins broke, pages vanished, and databases became corrupted.
Instead of giving up, Dhumik started over. Piece by piece, he rebuilt every course, lesson, and feature from scratch. What could have been the end of the project became proof of its core spirit: resilience through rebuilding.
Despite setbacks, he preserved the most important thing: the content, the vision, and the community of learners.
What Makes LearningRO Unique?
LearningRO is not just another course site. It’s designed to be:
- AI-Powered but Ethical → RoTutor doesn’t hand out answers. Instead, it guides learners step by step, helping them think critically.
- Accessible for Everyone → Dyslexia-friendly fonts, line spacing, text-to-speech, dark/light modes, and inclusive tools support all learners.
- Personalized & Interactive → Students can take notes directly in lessons, practice with flashcards, and track streaks for motivation.
- Beyond Students → LearningRO isn’t only for learners. A Teacher’s Toolkit is being developed, with a dedicated “RoTutor for Educators” chatbot to help teachers plan lessons, mark work, and manage classrooms.
Why Students Value It
Students today are overwhelmed with PDFs, revision packs, and generic resources. LearningRO stands apart because it:
- Offers structured lessons and quizzes for GCSE and beyond.
- Provides AI-powered revision support (summaries, lesson recaps, flashcards).
- Lets learners chat with RoTutor by text or voice, just like having a digital study buddy.
- Promotes independent learning, rather than spoon-feeding answers.
The Mission
“AI-Powered Learning for Everyone — Smarter. Faster. Better.”
LearningRO aims to ensure that whether you are a student, teacher, or lifelong learner, you have access to smart tools, engaging resources, and guidance that adapts to you.
Legacy of a Teacher’s Assignment
The story always circles back to where it began: a coursework assignment given by a teacher who had no idea he was sparking a life-changing project.
“To that teacher: you may never have expected this. But everything you see here… started with you. Thank you for being the beginning of something far beyond a grade.”
The Future
LearningRO is more than a website. It is a movement — proving that with faith, persistence, and vision, even a single student can reshape education.
And it’s only just getting started.
