Ramapir (c. 1352–1385 CE) was a 14th-century Hindu saint, often considered an incarnation of Krishna/Vishnu, who remains immensely popular in Rajasthan and Gujarat. He built an enduring legacy centered on radical social equality and interfaith harmony. His life was dedicated to uplifting the marginalized (Dalits and lower castes) and challenging orthodoxy through his famous miracles (Parchas). His shrine at Ramdevra remains a major pilgrimage site for people of all faiths, including Hindus and Muslims.
